Yin Yoga - “Yin Yoga, which targets the lower body, is a relatively recently developed style of yoga that’s based on the principles of traditional Chinese medicine as well as contemporary science. Yin Yoga poses require your muscles to remain relaxed during the stretch. This ensures that you instead stretch your connective tissue, also known as fascia.”(Yoga Journal)
Yin Yoga is very calm and restorative experience practiced with props for support.
Medical Qigong is the focus of breath and movement to create physiological responses in the body. Practicing medical qigong can lower stress/anxiety,
increase energy and blood flow, and encourage the parasympathetic mode. Medical Qigong is based around building the awareness of seasons, internal
organs and various other system and functions of the body.
Exercise Qigong is the focus of breath and movement to create a more challenging physiological responses in the body. Exercise qigong can lower stress/anxiety, increase strength and conditioning, and also lighten mood. Exercise Qigong is for those capable of pushing there bodies limits in a safe manner.
Martial Qigong is the focus of breath and movement to develop and improve energy through dedication and hard work. Martial Qigong brings upon a calm warrior energy, used to prepare the body for martial engagements. Must complete Medical and Exercise Qigong sessions to have access to Martial Qigong.
