Eating seasonal and local food is a powerful way to build mediation around food. Local and seasonal food is full of beneficial microbiota that will increase your immune system and self awareness! Its also hard to go wrong when eating seasonal foods.
Take it a step further and go into nature and harvest the many edibles plants that grow naturally in our environments. Be careful, do research when identifying plants. Always double check with someone who knows for sure. This practice is very powerful sense of meditation.
Cooking your own food is another great way to build mediation. The process of preparing for cooking, cooking and then eating can be a multi hour meditation with positive intention can develop into a peaceful practice that can be share with others!
